Bargains
This was a local auction to me.
The Colchester Student lathe went for $500. The little Alba shaper sold for $225. Other bargains too.
I registered to bid but I got confused about the end of the auction timer and it ended sooner than I thought it would .. oh dear ! Old age.
You have to be careful bidding at these auctions because the auctioneers often give you very little time to pick up your purchases, they can nominate only one day for pickups and if you buy a heavy lathe you need to organize a truck or a trailer at short notice which is just about impossible. .
