Found this while trawling gumtree and figured it might be of interest for some people

Selling metal, metal scrap, toolmakers machines, tools etc
My uncle passed away recently. In his Garage he has a lot of metal and toolmaker machines (milling machine, presses, lathes, shapers etc) . my uncle was a toolmaker, machanie and loved to tinker and invent things.

I dont know how much they are worth but we can come to an agreement if interested. Some machines are big and heavy and will require strong machinery to move and transport.

Default the race to the bottom

Looks like the race to the bottom is on for carbide inserts....
Have a look at eBay using the search terms: "10 Carbide Inserts"
There are now hundreds of sellers selling them at well under $1 each in all kinds of sizes.
Might be a good time to stock up for us..... or they might all be crap, of course
    Cheers, Joe

I see Mark's next buy is on Gumtree. It will go well with his slideway grinder.

Nice looking Cincinnati tool and cutter grinder on eBay.
One of the largest collections of attachments with it too and at an almost sensible price.

A bit big for my shed, but so far the price is right. Someone here might like it:

That was a nice looking grinder but would be of little economic value now days.I saw it when i picked up my Myford grinder. Do you know if the Matrix thread grinder is still there?
