    Default Aluminium marking out table

Hi I have a aluminium engineers marking out table or maybe surface plate. I assumed it was somehow used to cast real cast iron or steel ones.
If it for this and of any use to any one.
I'd be happy to give it away.
    It's approx 600 * 400 mm

It's probably a pattern. I cast a surface plate many years ago as a teenager when Swinburne still did foundry training. I cast a surface plate, some, vee blocks, and some parallels after hanging on to them for over 10 yrs I ended up giving them away as I didn't have the equipment or associations to have them machined. I do regret that now.

I have actually found my tool box with all my old foundry tools and am currently working on a pattern to get cast by a foundry in Ballarat.
