Burdekin Machinery Preservationists Blacksmith Shed
As mentioned in another thread I was at the BMP open day last Sunday 8th November. I was fairly busy but managed to get some photos of the recently built Blacksmith shed to house equipment no longer used by a local sugar mill. The equipment was then donated to the club who managed to apply for donations to get the shed erected.
Will now attach some photos. The shed was not in operation during the open day.

Thanks for sharing.
The green machine in the first photo is a power hammer, what is the other green machine in the third pic?…..Live a Quiet Life & Work with your Hands

The other green machine could be a mechanical metal punching/stamping machine. Unfortunately I was pressed for time and did not manage to get any information. Although I am a member of the club I do not get there much as I would like because I live about 170Kms away.
I will see what I can find out about it next time I am there or talk to any members who were involved in the setting up of the equipment.
Regards
