1 1/2" X 6 Whitworth Die Nuts.
I bought a job lot of gear from a guy through the week and in the box there were 6 large die nuts in Whitworth 1 1/2" X 6 TPI. I have a matching 1 1/2 " X 6 actual Whitworth brand tap in my museum of old junk and I may be tempted to keep 1 of these which I'll probably never uses. They are all P&N brand with one having the P&N inside the Australian map. The others are just stamped P&N. They would probably be good quality carbon steel. Upon cleanup and inspection, one has a single tooth chipped out but the others all appear to be in perfect condition. Probably never used as they still had traces of wax.
I have no idea of their value or original price but a Metric 36 model will set you back $270 at Blackwoods and a 1 1/2" X 11 BSP is $125 on eBay. I'm not sure if anybody is using these today but someone may have a use for them. I don't.
For interest sake lets say $10 each plus postage.

PM Sent Brian.
I hope you guys are getting my PMs because they don't show up in my "Sent" folder.
For others who may be interested the postage is $14.55 to both SA and QLD. Each one weighs just under 1.4 kg and packaged will be 12 cm X 12 cm X 5 cm.

Kryn, Brian, Alan and Simon,
All 4 die nuts will be in today's morning mail. I'd expect you will receive them sometime early next week.
Cheers
Greg
