    Would you be able to post them PLEASE? Are the titles of the volumes the same as the current series, ie Vol 1 Hardening, Tempering & Heat Treatment, 2, Vertical Milling in the home Workshop, 3, Screwcutting in a Lathe, 6, Measuring & Marking Metals, 7, The Art of Welding and 8, Sheetmetal Work?

    Workshop Practice Volume 1 to 8 Edited By William H Atherton published in the late 1940's I think, cannot find any date in the book but that would be around the time a family member came into ownership of them.

    Vol 1: Hand Tools & Gauges, Drawing & Sketching, Non-Ferrous Metals, Cast Iron & Wrought Iron.

    Vol 2: Pattern Making, Iron & Steel Founding, Brass Founding.

    Vol 3: The Steels Hardening & Tempering, Lathes & Lathe Work, Screw Cutting, Shaping-Planing-Milling.

    Vol 4: Drilling Boring & Nibbling, Slotting, Turret & Automatic Lathes, Grinding Jigs & Tools.

    Vol 5: Drop Forging - Die Making, Blacksmithing, Welding.

    Vol 6: Sheet Metal, Gear Cutting, Plate Shop, Mechanical Handling.

    Vol 7: Bearings, Petrol & Gas Engine, Fitting & Assembly.

    Vol 8: Steam Engines, Turbines I.C. Engines, Fitting Erecting & Testing.
