If anyone does buy the mill, remove the "oil" nipple from the spindle pulley and check whether there is grease in the nipple and oil passage. If there is the spindle needs to be popped out and all traces of grease removed. A clogged oilway can lead to a seized pulley and galled spindle. Hercus intended the pulley to be lubricated with oil just like their lathes.
