Hello Fellow MetalWorkers,

Actually, I don't know much about Metalworking, I have a lathe in the shed that came with the house when we bought it.
It's a Sheraton Diploma lathe, and was made by Sheraton, along with other styles such as Defiance, Cadet and Challenger.
I don’t know much about lathes, but I don’t need it or want it and I’m trying to find someone who might want it.
There are lots of bits and pieces that were sitting on the machine, along with cylinders of metal.
I have an old copy of an instruction manual, but it seems to be for Defiance, Cadet and Challenger, and the pages are all over the place, so I am not sure how useful it is.
It has been used, but it seems that it was quite a few years ago now, so I'm really not sure if it works now. I can tell you it does have a three jaw chuck and a four jaw chuck.

I have a stack of photos, but I don't think I can load them up here. You can email me, and I can send them to you. This includes the lathe, all the bits and pieces and the instruction manual.

We are very keen to move it on, but I don't even know where to start. Any words of advice or suggestions for selling a lathe would be really helpful for me!

I am in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

Thank you so much Fellow Metalworkers!
