Default Cylindrical Grinder.

Out and about in my travels today, I came across a grinder, that's destined for the scrap yard.

I thought I'd run in past you guys first. In case it can find a good home.

Its the highly sort after Kamenicek. . I'm assuming its of Czech origin.

I know nothing about it, apart from spending 30 seconds to take the pictures. And speaking to the customer that owns it. I'd assume it's 3 phase. Size would be about 200mm diameter by 600 between centres. I'd guess 12 inch wheels. Don't expect it requires too much power to run. There's only the wheel head and the table traverse, and probably the coolant pump. Potential to run it off an inverter.

It has no steadies or internal attachment. What's in the photo's is all that's included.

Because its a requirement of the forum to include a price. Lets call it $500 bucks. Site has a forklift that could load it free of charge.

Located in Croydon Vic. With some co-ordination it would be possible to inspect it. Its on an ITAR approved site. But its in the lean-too of the building, so we could sneak you in for an inspection.

I have no commercial interest in it, apart from stumbling across it today, and thought you blokes might like it, rather than going to scrap. Contact me, and I can put you in-touch with the owner.

    Regards.

    Phil.

I think you have a built in compass for finding grinders.

It's sort of the going, going time, (Those of you that have ever played with Gray's will get that).

Where its sitting is in the annex, you can see the yellow scrap bin in the first pic. Its only a few forklift lever movements to flip it onto the scrap truck that comes twice a week.

It's worth $200 as scrap. There's some messing around to extract it. Surely $450 -$400 CASH Would extract it?
It has to go soon.
