Default FS Mecha Dividing Head Semi Universal.

FS a Mecha technique dividing head. These were the Rolls Royce of dividing heads, supplied as options with Bridgeports, Kondias and other milling machines. Purchased new in 1978 and used maybe a dozen times. its filthy because it sat on an open shelf between Mill and lathe but any inspection will see it is hardly used. inspection welcome or I can send more photos or a video.

Asking $1,200 ONO I know what you can buy others for but they are not a patch on this one and inspection will show this as virtually unused.

I paid $440 for an absolutely divine Kearney & Trecker DH with shaft for spiral/helical input drive, in perfect condition. Purchased from Mick Moyles a year or so back.

Like big rotary tables that originally cost a ton, these things have been largely obsoleted by the advent of CNC machinery with live tooling and 4th/5th axis work. It's mainly backyard hobbyists who use them now and that limits the market I'm afraid. Very few have horizontal mills with a swivelling table and really you need one to make proper use of the extra features of this type of DH over the more comon B&S Type 0/1 that H&F sell. Which heads are a hell of a lot lighter to put on the mill, I may add. My K&T DH rarely gets used compared with the B&S DH.

Best of luck to you but I really don't like your chances.
