Default Piper No.2 Reversible Tapping Chuck

This is a superseded model chuck that is in good condition. It has a No.2 Morse taper arbor and comes with a stop arm which I neglected to photograph.

$120 which includes postage to anywhere in Australia. Paypal preferred.

There is a thread about the construction and workings of this chuck but the photos don't appear. I have included some of the original photos below.

    Hello Steve,

The maximum diameter tap shank it will accommodate is 10mm. My Sutton 1/2" BSW taps have either 9mm or 3/8" shanks , and my Goliath M10s have 10mm shanks. I had a look in a McPhersons catalogue and found some blurb which brought back the memory of another part that came with the chuck, a 1 1/2" die holder.

    Bob.
