Change gears for Hercus lathe model C?
Dear members,
Have been asked to help a friend determine what were the standard change gears that came with the 9" Hercus lathe model C.
According to the Operator's Manual, there were 13 change gears, 1 idler gear and 2 compound idler gears to cut threads from 4 to 160 tpi.
What is not mentioned, is how many teeth there were on each gear.
I have a model A, and am sure the setup on my lathe is different.
Any help would be appreciated.
