If he gets the asking price it might be! I think he’s dreamin’ though.

I think its his second go at a sale. Apparently somebody didn't pay up.

Looking close at the photos the ways appear to be flogged out just about where the students trash'em...

It was first listed in March at a starting price of $2500, and the bidding reached $2600 (two parties bidding).

It was listed for the second time on April 2, with a starting price of $2500, and after no bids the starting bid has mysteriously crept up to $4500. Who knows where the non-bidding could end ? Anything could happen in the final minutes on ebay.

I have seen a similar situation years ago with a different Craftsman that "sold" for about $3200 from memory, without ever changing hands.

There was also an invisible man by the name of Sydney Investor (unusual surname) who used to bid enthusiastically on many house auctions around Coffs Harbour. I suspect that sometimes he was able to bid on simultaneous auctions being held a kilometre or more apart.

On other occasions with various real estate agencies, the bidding was coming from someone described by the auctioneer as "the man at the back" (of the room).

This was in the good old days (the 1990s).
