Default Hercus o mill base cabinet

So i went to the avenue of stripping out to inspect , clean and paint my mill. Did some mods on the cabinet stand, put a heavy duty low profile castor on the front, 2 rear wheels , 4 levelling legs. Cut out the front panel add a few weld here and there. Angle bar . Move the drain outlet of the tray to the back. Drawer for tooling, shelvings for other component, and coolant pump.

Nice work so far but isn't the vertical axis screw going to mash into gear inside the top drawer ?

So far I'm really impressed with my mist cooler/lube system - so much so, that when/if I do up my mill I am seriously considering giving up on the pump and reservoir altogether so that the bottom is available for storage.

    Hi China eyes,
    Welcome to the Metalwork Forum.

In case you were wondering, a new member with under 10 posts are moderated when the post a pic.

No one is picking on you, it just and bit of a protection built into the software.

BobL was able to respond as he has moderator status on the other side, but as far as I know no one else was able to view it or respond. Fixed now!

Sorry I was tad slow in approving your post.

Thanks for pointing that out .. i did check it it wont hit the bottom board of the drawer but the back board will .. solution put the drawer on the bottom and put a shelf in there .. also was considering but doubtful about the mist coolant before but now hearing it works for you. Il go for that ..
