    HI,
Thanks for Posting the Spare Parts Manual and the Sales Brochure they are both Great Copys. I don't have My Hercus 9" anymore, but I will pass the Info onto some People that do have one.

    Hi all,

I am not sure if i am missing something, but it looks like the pdf is no longer attached to this thread?

I have a Hercus 9" Model A that is in currently in a thousand pieces, and really need some kind of manual or diagram to make sure i am putting it back together properly.

    cheers

    Hello SD Artist,

    You are welcome.

Another text that you might find useful is The Textbook of Turning, issued by Hercus

    https://www.factorydaily.com/topics/...ercus-sb-clone

As you might be aware, the Hercus 9" lathe is a fairly close copy of the Southbend lathe. Southbend produced a book called "How to run a Lathe". It has setup instructions and a fair number of (small) exploded drawings.

Here is an 88 page pdf of someones rebuild of a Southbend

It's still copyrighted so it should not be posted here.
You can purchase it on ebay.
