Q C Toolpost Id
Evening all,
My Metalmaster 12 x 36 lathe came with a quick change tool post.
I wish to upset Gerry Harvey and purchase more dovetails for it overseas as the local yokel wants $80+each for ones I know will fit.
I have read about AXA and others but I am not real sure how to nominate size to order the correct size dove tails.
The dove tail is stamped 250 -202 .
Does this id the dovetail for sizing,
pic attached
Thanks
Grahame

Grahame,
You might stand a better chance of getting the answers you are after if you post this also in the general metalwork forum.

Measure the dovetail and compare to the ones above. They also have dimensions for the tool posts to compare to the one you have. You'll then have a better idea of what to order. Info from one site can be compared to others. When you have filled in the blanks in your mind you can then shop for price, quality, shipping costs etcetera.
Have fun?
Pete
