    Default sheraton A steady?

    hi all,there are two tapped holes aprox 5/16" in the tailstock side of the carriage on my sheraton model A,i am wondering if these are to mount a traveling steady as i saw one on fleabay today and the mounting slots look compatible.Any ideas anyone?cheers danny

    That is usually the position where it would mount.

    thanks pipeclay,im still getting aquainted whith this machine,im impressed with how accurate it will turn up the pieces i need for the old beezer im restoring,and its good fun.

    Depending on your level of skill it is most times the opperator that produces the quallity rather than the quallity of the machine.
