Inverter Unimig 165-190
I'm still looking for a MIG Yesterday I found a 165, a 175 and a 190. They are all around the 1000 buck mark (Give or take a hundred or two). One guy said he thinks the 175 is just a 190 rebadged or the 190 is the 175 rebadged.
Would you bother with them? As I mentioned in other posts, I'm planning to do a bit of aluminium welding (I'm building a camper for my 4wd), I'll be welding checkerplate and square tubing, probably up to about 5mm. I'll be using it off road so the weld needs to be strong. I'll also be using it on steel.
Should I bother with Unimig or can I get better for that money? I was told by the guy that was trying to sel me the Unimig that Lincoln are pretty good.
I'm in Sydney. Where do you recomend I start looking?
Thanx once again.

Have a look at the lincoln power mig 180 costs about $ 1200.00 or less
why I mention this one is because you can get a spool gun for it for about $350.00 its very easy to fit and very handy for alu work
