Aldi had an inverter DC stick welder on offer a while ago. Some stores still have them, they are being remaindered at $99.

130A machines typically have 10A plugs and a switchable TIG mode. Cigweld and UniMIG do such units and probably a bunch of others.

As for first-hand experience, I have a BOC 130A machine which has been excellent, but doesn't have a TIG mode, and BOC don't seem to offer the Smootharc machines in the smaller amperages any more.
