I had a CIG 195 Rural Pak mig, best dam mig I ever owned, ran aluminium wire through it with no problems, never no need to change the liner like what is required today. When I got kicked off the bus in my mining job, too big to fit in my ute with the rest of my tools ( no room), sold it to a new boiley that arrived in the mining town. Kicking to this day that I sold it off.

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I think I have fixed my current welder, so I might put off getting a new one for a while. We have the old school WIA fabricators at work and I agree they are pretty bulletproof. I’m thinking I might end up getting a esab rebel 215. We have one at work and the welders reckon it’s pretty good.
