Default Duralloy Tig 200 ACDC PFC MV

Hi I am just wondering if there are any users of this machine and how did they find it to use.

    Thanks

Don't know of anyone who has one, but the sales guy assures me that the professional fabricators love them. In the past they've said exactly the same thing about other welders they sell, so not inclined to put much weight on that kind of endorsement.

The welder is a rebadge for sure.

The name does appear anywhere overseas as far as I can find through net searches.

As for professional welders love them???? Professional welders limited by a 160amp machine does not sound right to me.
    T
here are no reviews by independent reviewers is something else that sticks out.

Look! the welder may be quite ok, but I see smoke and mirrors. and a purchase price a bit too cheap.
    It just my opinion though!

I did find the original Chinese machine that the Duralloy is based on when I was shopping for an AC/DC TIG machine. My Googling this time hasn't thrown up that result, but I did find the same machine being flogged in NZ badged as "Strata".

It's worth noting it could be an awesome machine - but as the OP is doing, you just need to find some people who have had one for a while.

Ok so I bought this one as I like to "flirt with death" from time to time. It is a good machine so far even though it my first TIG. Still learning this process but I enjoy the machine.
