Oh, and as for watching vids, apart from Jody and Bob, I'd recommend This Old Tony for more fabrication-orientated videos with plenty of TIG - he recently did a series on building a go-kart for his kids, and apart from wanting him as a dad, I found his use of TIG for fabricating not just the frame, but multiple mechanical components, really informative.
