Default lincoln viking helmet lens rip off

Wow. Inner and outer packs of 5 replacement lens.
    US $16
Australia on ebay $37 for just the outer 5 pk lens

This crap really pisses me off!!!!!!

Us Lincoln only posts within the US.
Would anyone know of a reasonable price here in OZ?

When I got mine a while back, I noted that the lenses were $15 for a 5-pack at Total Tools - that said, I can't remember if that was for both inner and outer, or just outer.

A number of us here use USA Address & Package Forwarding - Shipito as a drop address to avoid imposts like that.

the other thing to do is look for other brand lenses with the same dimensions.

i have even cut ( with scissors) large sheets of polycarbonate of the same thickness as the original lense.

    saved heaps by buying generic

I have some sheets of clear from a cheap sandblaster I sent back, too thin. Cigweld helmet lens a few mill too short of course.
I'll check out total tools, didnt think they'd sell Lincoln helmet acc's, thanks mate.
It's all very well to make your own to take to work but with everything else there is to do stuff that, ya just wanna rip it out of a packet, fit it and GO!
Anyway I'll sort something out. We Aussies need a mate from the States to post stuff forward for us. Who's ready to start an app eh. "Your mate from the States" heh heh

See if there is a large independent welding supplier in the US that will ship here.

I buy small engine parts from a large mower shop in Maryland ...... freight usually costs more than the items, but still half the price of buying here and I get it faster.

    cheers

Give IWS a call and see what they charge (I forgot to keep my price list, but I think they were pretty cheap). Locations
Or try your local SPW dealer

I was in Gasweld the other day. I didn't pay much attention but I did see they had Lincoln Viking helmets in stock and a heap of lenses at the side of their helmets.
