We are now in the 1970s
Picked this up on the weekend.
Date of 1976 on it.
They had similar at my last place of employment and I used it a bit for tig on Al.
To fit it in I will now have to retire my 1950s Pilot Arc
Any thoughts on using the Lincoln for arc if I need to.
Any interest in the pilot arc and an invertor?

Forgot to mention the high frequency on the pilot arc is still in operation.

I am a great fan of Lincoln gear, bullet proof and very repairable, even the older machines. No reason not to arc weld with the old girl that I can think of.
Sadly you won't get much for the old pie heater in this day and age of electronic whiz bangery (let's see the modern machines still toil away at 60!). There was one for sale on gumtree for ages at a ridiculously low figure, complete with working HF and 26 tig torch. Would make a really good entry level TIG for a farmer or such who has access to 3 phase.
In case you weren't aware, Lincoln have downloadable manuals for their machines on both the Aussie and American websites.

Very nice Lincoln Idealarc 300/300 that one, pretty sure I have the BERNARD Tig cooler off it.
