My Liquid Arc is about 5 years old and just about run out, thats what started me looking for alternatives and the Hobart stuff has good rep, I'll see next week when it arrives.

Hobart is good, I've used that too, but the Liquid Arc is much better in my opinion.

I picked up a roll of 'Weldclass' dirt cheap a couple of months ago ($60 for 5kg) but I haven't had a chance to try it yet as I don't do a lot of gasless welding.

Well the fabshield arrived yesterday, very impressed with the low spatter, next step, entertaining the middle grand daughter in the holidays, teach her to weld, she did quite well too
