Jeez all you guy's tables show mine up
My welding bench table thingo is a offcut of 3mm sheet about 800x500 with bits missing and is kept straight by being screwed down to some door jamb material, this sits on my 1st tablesaw stand(its all thats left of that awesome saw...)its one of those press bent sheet stands that bolt together, this then sits over one of my saw horses to get it at a comfy level.
I've virtually only used it for TIG practice but has been used for some small projects.
Soon I hope to build a decent table, like you guys cant find anything decent to make a top out of so Im thinking of making a slat top, some 130x20mm should be beefy enough for most fabrication Im ever to take on....................................................................

Yes quite correct. And if that silver thingy on the fifth finger of the clamp circumvents the earth there's an odd smell, sort of like something cooking

A bit like molten spatter getting on gold ones, takes a month or so to repair. Then SWMBO complains that you're on the lookout for a newer model, or that you don't like the older model anymore because you're not showing everyone the piece of gold. DAMHIKT.

Since i can't load photos here is some I uploaded to weldingweb from 10 years back.
Jon from homemadetools had apparently found it and loaded it up to his forum in the last few days.I managed to lose those photos in a computer cash and don't know where the the original unit has got to, so I was happy to take advantage of the old photos bobbing up. The original system I used had the locking mechanism on the top and locked with an allen key.

See post #56 welding web
It is the predecessor to the one I posted in this thread and the breakdown pics might help someone making one.

Hi meadow,
Thats an understatement.! The ones we are seeing lately are an overseas re incarnation of the once well known Triton vice jaw with a tweak on the jaw release mechanisms.
Does anyone recall the shin smashing foot lever operation?
They are so versatile for clamping both little and large items in both wood and metal.I would not be without mine.
