Looks great. But that's a lot of work in those timber-clad corners if they're not doing anything?

decorative corners , yes.
sometimes the customer wants a way and they are gonna get it.
testement to their vision, bit exxy, but hopefully they learnt a bit about "out of the ordinary design" in the process.
one doesn't learn anything much by not finishing anything : )
agreed, cladding a post which goes right to the ground would have saved lots of design issues.......anyhow we'll see how the final product turns out : )
thanks for looking

yes Ian, there will be deck on each end out from the doors, with a ramp and stairs ( customer taking a bet each way it seems).
floor or plan is pretty open-
long kitxhen bench along the side where the big windows are ( west)
double bed with bunk in one corner ( south east)
"bathroom " partitioned off with a low divider in the other corner (north east).
a wood burning stove in one of the remaining corners ( north west), the other free.
fairly open plan otherwise.
ive decided to build a small structure on my block now : )

If it were my granny's flat, I would lose the bunk bed.
I've lived with a similar double bed / bunk bed unit and the double bed was a real bugger to make.regards from Canmore

im thinking about totally welding this small building 9 m x2.1m with bolted on lean too carport ( not shown) in order to make it movable .
sort of prefab/demountable/ transportable to other locations or for resale if I get short on $.......which is going to happen haha
im thinking a big forklift and onto a truck if need be-----can't quite see how I can crane it just yet?
anyhow. if you would like to see the welding go ahead I will show?

Yes please, I like seeing what other people construct, whether it be large small or in between, any kind of fabrications. Just seeing how they go about their projects.
