You'll need a sky hook to get them up there soon. Nice looking welds by the way.

That's a lovely slag tail on those beams!
And it's not proper welding until a few things catch on fire

A sure sign that all your parameters are correct1
Wire brush-to get the smoke off- and paint.
Good job!

update
not a whole lot to report:
very surprised how how the inverter stick machine is going with generator only power. performing well with 2.5 mm rods.
the owner has found some priorities to drag me away from the granny flat, like welding a roof for a shipping container and fabricating a loading dock.
i guess it's all work, but does make completion drag out : (

on
well, they are up.
got some more photos coming but here is one pic I managed to get from my phone camera.
showing the owner (on ground with big smile) and his very handy mate from Gunnedah.
fortunately the crane driver was running slightly behind time, so we could prepare a little better for the lift.
nervous excitement.
first one lands on top of the column, a few pokes with the podger and the first one bolts down.
second one floats from the sky and lands.
third one slips in real nice / --- fewwwwww.
shall get some more action shots soon : )

Excellent job by the way, as usual.
