    Default TransMIG 350 Circuit schematic

    Hi All,
I've emailed CIGWeld, but so far have not had a response. I'm after a circuit schematic for an old TransMIG 350. It's a black case with white on red writing on it - from the 80's I think.

    Can anyone assist?

    Thanks in advance.
    Cheers.

    Vernon.

Is your model the synergic pulse mig or the straight mig?
I have the info for the pulse model.
I have had the best results ringing cigweld's customer service number.

    It's just the straight MIG.

Is there much difference between the two models on the mains/transformer side ... that is the area I am focusing on.

I will also try and give them a call.
    Cheers.

To be honest I don't fully know the differences between the two.
The synergic would be scr controlled for sure. Is the straight mig stepped voltage control or scr controlled?
The synergic pulse is actually a National Panasonic and I suspect yours will be too as CIG had an agreement with National in that era.

Not sure as I haven't actually sighted the unit yet. Looking at it for a mate.
    Cheers.

Have you had any luck getting the manual and schematics for the Transmig 350?

Yes, CIG Weld came through yesterday afternoon. I have contacted CIG a couple of times in the past to get old manuals and they always seem to come through in the end ... I should just need to learn to be more patient.
    Cheers.

Good one, the old girl will be well worth saving as they were a well made machine if it's the one I'm thinking of - Transmig 350EC with Transmatic 1 wire feeder.

They are good old machines. I have been running an even older Transtig 350 for some time and absolutely love it.
    Cheers.

Unfortunately no ... that one is about 30 years newer than the model I was looking for.

As mentioned, CIG Weld came through with the correct manual.
    Cheers.
