CK Flex Loc torch
I recently bought a CK Flex Loc torch with one piece cable from Weldfabulous in the US. I've now done a good few 8 hours days worth of solid welding with the torch and thought I'd provide feedback for anyone who may be looking for a new torch.
I've very happy with the torch and the cable is a delight to use. It's not water cooled so I do need to be careful when working at high currents. In a few cases I've had to stop mid weld as my fingers have been getting too toasty. Generally however for a home shop it would be fine I think, I didn't want the hassles of a water cooler and don't do too much aluminium. I can however appreciate the advantages of water cooling and it's a little frustrating to stop mid stream. The one piece cable is super flexible and an absolute delight to use.

I happened to have my phone in the workshop today, so took a couple of quick snaps of my own torch and the last weld I did before stopping for a cuppa. That was some 4 mm SHS and 5 mm (IIRC) flat plate. Welding at max 150 amps.
Needless to say, no connection with any company mentioned, etc., just happy customer

Thanks for the feedback Pete. I'm waiting for mine to turn up.
They look like a very versatile torch.

Weldfabulous are very good. I've previously purchased a Miller helmet from them, plus a few smaller things. The shipping to Sydney is typically around a week or so. The only drama I has was ordering the wrong gas lens. I bought one for the smaller torch so it obviously didn't fit this one. I'll either return it and wear the postage, sell it on ebay, or just keep it and use the pieces that are universal between the two (not much as I recall). Entirely my own fault, though I must admit finding the correct one was somewhat confusing at the time. I emailed the manufacturer and never heard back from them. A bit disappointing.
I was packing up the torch today and it struck me how light an flexible the one piece hose is, I can literally wind it around my hand. I sometimes need to go back to my old torch as it has a trigger on it if I'm welding out of position and can't use the foot pedal. It's like night and day difference.
