For $22 delivered I wouldn't bother which is what it is now. Just on principle the price boosts once publicity hits should not be rewarded. I've bought a bunch of stuff from Bob but this practice has kind of turned me off for future supplies... For $10 delivered might be interested but truth be told my cheapies from bunnings have held up exceptionally well.

Didnt the original listing have them as seconds, with some type of stitching fault.

I thought that was the reason for the lower price.

The listing he has now states that they are free from faults, this would indicate that they are not seconds and would probably more than justify the price difference.

    You are correct pipeclay.
I spoke to Bob about this a couple of days ago and he siad the stitching on the palm and some fingertips were faulty and the problem is now resolved. Staying on topic, I have these gloves:
Welders Gloves Kevlar Stitched Welding Gloves (Qty1Pr ) - eBay, Gloves, Welding, Industrial. (end time 30-Sep-10 10:42:22 AEST)
    and they are very good.

$22 for a pair of welding gloves??? Yikes, I pay $10 just by walking into the local industrial supply house.

If you walk into QLD trade tools you can have a choice of blue softer gloves or red harder gloves with kevlar stiching for about that money every day.

    Nice gloves fully lined.

They have a pile ( I don't mean lots I mean "a pile") of each in my local branch.

    cheers

    Most powertools have sharp teeth.
    People are made of meat.
Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.
