G'day All,

Looking for a fun night out?
This Saturday, 29th November 2014, Campbelltown Steam and Machinery Museum is hosting a special event;
'A night at Museum' or as I like to call it steam-powered Drive-In picture show!

The movie is an all time classic 'The General' starring Buster Keaton. We are featuring The Moving Picture Show Orchestra who will be playing the original movie score LIVE!
See details at;

Hi all,
I managed to take some photos of the night, with my 'phone.

332918 The 'drive- in' line up
332919 The sound effects department; steam engineer with boiler for REAL whistle and a REAL 'foley'.
332920 Another shot of the drive-in transport.
332921 Lighting generator plant.
332922 Firing the portable for lights- otherwise they get dim!
332923 The show in full swing.
332926 Last, but not least- the Orchestra. They played for an hour straight, to accompany the feature film.

Many thanks to the organisers, and most of all 'The Moving Picture Show' for putting it all together. http://themovingpictureshow.com.au/

Thanks Andrew would have been better than what was on TV for sure, having a Foxie recovering from minor surgery couldn't go anywhere.

Thanks for the pics Andrew.
Especially the one with the Bartram vertical boiler. Pretty rare showing 40 PSI on the gauge for one of those :2tsup:
