Hi All, can someone help me source a small piece of brass to use in making a veneer hammer?

Most hobby/model shops stock a variety of brass sizes.

I tried calling a few before posting, but no one seems to stock anything thicker than 2mm.

Glad you found a piece. For others in Melbourne

were really helpful on my visit.

They have all sorts of sections and although I did not get any flat - it was on the shelf.

One difficulty is they are only open weekdays (from memory 8-4ish - RING to check)

no link just a customer glad to find a source (nearby :) )

I have a piece of brass 270mm by 25mm by 4mm if that will help you out. $20 plus postage.

Check the date on the post its an oldie.
I sent it to him for free months ago ,and he has probably made his veneer hammer and near worn it out by now.
